Rainy and Cold Day 3

We're from Michigan, we don't let inclement weather stop us from having fun!

It was rainy and cold today, so our plans changed a little bit and that's OK!

We had a picnic planned with an old friend named Aurelie in Paris but due to the weather, we met her and her beautiful baby boy Emilio at the Orsay Museum. We had a wonderful time!

We stopped to have a quick sandwich which wasn't worth a picture and certainly hardly worth mentioning!  After that we went to the Cluny Museum, which is the museum of ancient history.

It was very interesting, but sadly, not a lot of English translation. So even with my buddy Rick Steves to guide us, we felt like we missed a lot of the meanings. It was fascinating nonetheless.

Dinner time!

We had heard about a place close to our hotel that had real hand-pulled Chinese noodles. Emily and I are total suckers for noodle houses and we decided to not eat French for our last night of this leg in Paris and go Chinese.

BOY was it worth it!  The place is called My Noodles and We would recommend it to anyone coming to Paris who likes noodles!  What a great surprise meal!

He trained 7 years to be able to make noodles like this.
The man looks exactly like his cartoon in the logo!

We took a video because we couldn't stop watching him!  He made it look so easy!

Then we called it a night and came home to pack for tomorrow's journey to Avignon, Provençe!  We are very excited!  Hope the pictures and the story is as inspiring to you as they are to us!!
We're having a BLAST!
